Cannot say there was anything spectacular today.  It was just a really nice ride. Went out of Vienna along the Danube River, small city then into the woods before going back along the river. 
Most of the trail is either along the cycle path or off road paths. Some are long narrow roads with minimal traffic which remind me of alley ways. There are so many cyclists drivers are used to them so they would not be surprised by seeing one.
Have noticed few convince stores along the way. Outside of Vienna seems to be local run stores as opposed to chains. Seems strange vending machines selling wine and cigarettes in a vending machine.
Even though it is mid May and rained in the morning there were four bicyclists camping the night.
