Took a tour of Melk Abby. It was started in 1089 the two previous buildings were burned and this one was built on 1700’s. If you ever in the neighborhood it is definitely a place to go, especially the church.It is strange to be on the path and approach a secure building with a barrier for cars to enter and on the side is an entry for bicycles to do the path.Was happily biking toward Grein and take the ferry to the other side of the river. At the entrance to load a sign said the start service on May 20. It was late but along the path there was a giant box that was big enough for me to hide the bike and me.
